Digital imaging specialist Epson today announces that 3M Commercial Graphics and Avery Dennison Graphics Division are now guaranteeing the quality, durability and longevity of the products they produce using the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 and UltraChrome™ GS inks.

Demonstrating the company’s confidence in Epson’s consistency and quality, the 3M Performance Guarantee covers product performance of 3M vinyl and compatible 3M overlaminates for up to five years for outdoor use. With media designed and engineered to work consistently and reliably with piezo print platforms, the GS6000 combined with Epson UltraChrome GS inks delivers a reliable and lasting impression to 3M’s end customers.

“Having been tried, tested and found highly valuable in the US graphics market, the 3M Performance Guarantee will now provide European converters with the peace of mind that they will generate reliable and lasting impressions for their end customers,” said Rainer Schlösser, European Market Development Manager, 3M’s Commercial Graphics Division. “We’ve designed and engineered our media to work consistently with piezo print platforms and have put them through rigorous physical diagnostic tests to ensure they conform to 3M’s strict product specifications.”

Likewise, Avery Dennison is guaranteeing the performance of its MPI series when produced using the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000. The Avery MPI range offers a range of specific applications for vehicle graphics and stationary signs and will be guaranteed for three years as part of the Avery Supreme Cover, when produced using the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 in combination with UltraChrome GS inks.

Images dry faster, look better and last longer on coated or non-coated substrates, such as vinyl.

The Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 will be on display at FESPA Digital in Amsterdam, 12-14 May, 2009, the leading European trade show for the screen and signage industry.
